I've bought tons of Steam keys from them over the years. Never an issue.

Does Village have any worthy dlc like RE7? RE7's dlc was phenomenal all around and was worth getting 100% achievements for.

Not yet but recent financial statements by capcom have stated that free DLC is on the way

Anyone think this is gonna be on gamepass eventually?
Virtually every RE and Capcom title comes to Game Pass, including every single mainline RE to date.

This game is worth full price. The only thing is, it's best played on PS5. Yes, PC looks better and can run at a higher frame rate with Ray-tracing, but since it still runs in 4K at 60fps on PS5 (or 4K 45fps with Ray-tracing), you're not losing much.

The reason it's best on PS5 is because of the Dual Sense controller. It has support for the adaptive triggers, so you get to feel the tension of pulling the trigger, and the right trigger rapidly bumps your finger, while firing fully-auto guns, to simulate recoil. Plus the haptic feedback of the rumble.

Idk if that's something they can patch in on PC. That would be cool if they do. I know the upcoming God of War port is going to support the Dual Sense on PC. I believe Deathloop supports it on PC.

Almost every single game drops within a couple of months, now, unless we're talking about Nintendo games.

The ray tracing implementation on PS5 is NOTHING like on PC. It's comparable to low settings(PS5) vs ultra settings(PC).

I understand that. When I said it looks better on PC, that of course included the ray-tracing. However, the PS5 controller gives you the extra immersion you can't get anywhere else, and makes it entirely more worth playing than just getting something cosmetic, like lighting and reflections.

You can go all "PC master race" on me, but I'm not saying the PS5 is actually a better system. There's just no debate that having the feel of the triggers simulating recoil and little haptic vibrations is better than clicking a mouse button and pressing buttons on a keyboard. The PC version is the equivalent of someone putting rims on their car. It's nicer to look at, but it adds nothing to the ride.

Doesn't Steam support PS5 controllers [steampowered.com]? Should be the same on PC then unless I'm missing something. At least the RE8 page says "full controller support" [steampowered.com]. I'd be more concerned with the Capcom DRM if it is still a part of the PC game's code because of what I've seen in reviews [techpowerup.com] about it gimping framerates and performance on PC in parts.

Anyhow, DRM aside, fantastic deal if you want this on PC to play legally now. Though, I anticipate it will be in future Capcom sales direct from Steam for similar, if not lower, prices eventually. May also show up on PS+ like RE7 did.

You're partially correct. Steam does support the controller, but the games don't use the features, such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers (which are what feels like pulling tension on a real trigger and it's pretty damn cool). That's left up to the developers, which is why only a couple games support it right now. It's possible that this could get a patch to support that in the future, but it's entirely up to Capcom if they want to add that. That extra level of immersion is what separates the versions. The PC version does have way better ray-tracing, but I'll take something tangible over something cosmetic, any day. Just like if I had to choose between 1080p at 60fps or 4K at 30fps, I'm choosing the performance of the 1080p.

I see, that makes the "full controller support" somewhat misleading then. So, each individual game on PC needs specific controller support options added for full PS5 controller functionality then? But how do we tell what games have it and what games don't? Just if it is in the Steam description, a press release, review, or developer's social media? You'd think they'd include it on PC if they already made a PS5 version alongside it as well, but I guess time and money and all that...

They have been ok, but keep in mind developers see little to no money from grey market sellers. You might as well be grabbing a cracked version ethnically speaking.
Bullshit. Where is your proof?

I think when games say, "Full controller support" they're speaking generally. Like, "every button will work on any controller," rather than specifically, "Full Support for Dual Sense features."

It's possible that the Steam description would say if it supports those features. I haven't checked on there. I saw press releases that mentioned it.

Idk how devs decide which games they're going to implement it in. It would be nice if, going forward, they just did that with any game that was also on PlayStation. Maybe eventually.
