I had to read through 2 pages of comments before I found that LHR has nothing to do with the function of the graphics card for GRAPHICS. Just limits its mining ability. The fact not one of the commenters mentioned it was specifically a mining cripple, makes me want to thumb them down too...🤷 ♂️

Don't even try to rationalize it, none of these people are going to listen. 🤣 Mining has completely destroyed the industry for gamers and it looks like there is no end in sight. Hopefully soon it will become unprofitable so we can see some semblance of normalcy.
Also, the argument of the "chip shortage" and not the mining for GPU scarcity is hilarious. As long as GPUs are money making machines then those that are looking to profiteer off of them are going to buy them all up. If there were no chip shortage then video cards would just be almost impossible to find instead of totally impossible.

To be very clear here, ALL RTX 3060 versions are "LHR" in that they are all designed to limit ETH mining at half hashrate.

There is, however, a big difference between LHR v2 and LHR v1 --> LHR v1 can still hash at full with the leaked 470.05 beta drivers from Nvidia when in a PCI-E x16 slot (or x16 to x16 riser), and when plugged into a display (or using HDMI dummy plug).

LHR v2 can achieve 75% ETH hash rate using the latest version of T-Rex miner, and NBMiner.

Do these still come with LHR or non LHR?

thanks,
I bought this pc with a different cpu about a month ago, and it was non lhr. It might be non lhr, but you can't tell for sure if it is non lhr until you buy it and find out using gpu-z on the pc(search online to learn more).

For reference:

Original RTX 30 series: Hash ETH at full potential.

GeForce RTX 3060 - GA106-300 (PCI Device ID: 2503)

New RTX 30 LHR series: No known fix exists for ETH and likely won't be.

GeForce RTX 3060 - GA106-302 (PCI Device ID: 2504)

You can check PCI Device ID from Control Panel, Device Manager and checking the properties of the RTX 3060. Could you please check?

Also when did you order, and when did you receive.

Thanks!
