It adds up. Just buying things I buy anyway, I've saved $160 this year so far with Discover. Will probably add another $50 with Christmas shopping since Amazon and Walmart on on there this quarter.

Combined with my other rewards cards, with just a tiny bit of planning, I net about $600-1000 a year in cashback and travel. It's not nothin'.

I wish they weren't so strict with the grocery store category. None of my go to places count for groceries.

Well that 1st quarter is useless for me. Recently got the citi custom cash that I have dedicated to grocery stores for 5% and I have my gym on a lone bank account to prevent any foul play when ending a membership. The last 2 are pretty good, but would have liked to see wholesale clubs there for either of the first 2 quarters...

I used to remember when they have the greatest coverage and benefits, now it's just any regular credit card for current subscribers.
