Grabbed a pair for our company holiday gift exchange. Went through the JBL site and they didn't charge me sales tax, so at $24.95 I'm right at the $25 gift limit for the party.

Different model. 500bt vs 510bt. As far as I can tell, 510bt has better battery life and uses USB C, not sure what else is different.

If you wear earrings, it's very easy to rip that thin plastic that covers the ear pads.

On-ear 'phones tend to be tight, but these are unbearably so, which is especially painful on the ears of the bespectacled.

Maybe they loosen up after time, I couldn't tolerate them long enough to find out.

I just got tje 500bt seems flimsy. The plastic over the ear seems very cheap. Sound quality is... About$20-25 worth. No 3.5mm connection either
