Great price. You could easily resell these for around $300 on craigslist or Facebook. Nice find!

This was $259.99 on Woot 3-4 months ago. Also, not expandable.

These are the less functional ones. Not because they can't expand past 50lb but because these are the ones that don't come with adder weights AND they start at 10lb instead of the 5lb handle.

If you're dead set on getting Powerblocks that don't expand, get the Personal Trainer version. Color scheme sucks but it has more bells and whistles, so to speak.

True, but still a good price on a great set of dumbbells. Perfect for accessory work.

What exercise are you doing that you need 5lbs?

I have a pair of Classic 70's, and the adder weights in the handle are great for it because they adjust in 10 lb increments with the weights both in at the 60 and 70 lb adjustments.

Ionno really lol, maybe shoulder rehabilitation?

It's more of a consistency sort of thing for me lol. Like grr, here they go in 5lb increments but they start at 10lb, madness I tell you

But also the adder weights add so many more increments. I plateued curling 45lb to 50lb in terms of the reps I wanted. Those adder weights would have helped tremendously in highschool a billion years ago. Instead I resorted to taping 2.5lb plates to the ends of the hex dumbbells I had.

So I imagine some gals could make use of the 2.5lb adder weights, 5lbs, or possibly the 7.5lb? Lol or even grandmas, who knows.
