I found some actual reviews and it seems to be pretty decent for a 65 inch OLED for $1000. It's using a LG panel so the image quality will be pretty good, just less bright. Can't believe people are dumb enough to compare features with $1700 65 inch LG C1, it literally cost 70% more. Everyone act like they are Twitch Progamers that game at 120hz. If you are just watching movies (24hz) then 120hz is pretty useless unless you like the soap-opera effect.
Brightness performance seems to be about half of the LG CX if you look at the same review for the LG on HDGuru. But anything bigger than a 25% White Window, the brightness performance seems to be about the same.
Overall it's pretty tempting for causal viewing, $1050 for 65 inch LG panel is a good deal. If the software is shit then just plug in a $50 Roku/Chromecast.
Obviously a LG panel. Unless you have a series X or PS5 the lack of HDMI 2.1 is moot. Image enchancement, clear motion, and all that stuff should be turned off anyway. Pop a 3rd party device firestick/Roku/Shield on this thing and enjoy.
MSRP is $1399 so this is a good deal based on that. It uses a similar panel to the LG A1. It has bad motion and judder...average image processing and pushes a green tint. It's the cheapest 65 inch OLED ever but you are losing out on pretty much every new feature and you can't even color calibrate it due to lack of menu options. There are a lot of negatives to this but if you are looking for a raw OLED picture then this is the best price.
From 1996 to 2000 is termed by the company its "fast growth period",[8] during which it was the number four, in term of production volume, television manufacturing company in China.[8] This period of growth culminated with an IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in April 2000.[11]
After 2000, Skyworth experienced problems resulting from such quick expansion. It shuttered a small appliances unit[8] and sold to creditors an 80% equity stake in its newly minted mobile phone subsidiary for a nominal sum.[12] The firm has experienced lower sales and tighter margins in a sector that has been slow to bring out new products.[citation needed]
Could the listing title be updated to note that this listing is from buydig via ebay? There are definitely positive and negative inferences that will bring, but is also valuable information.
Some will be relieved that this isn't some completely random reseller who intercepted one of the first Amazon shipments[9to5google.com] and is just dumping them out the back of their van. Others might note BuyDig.com and think even with ebay buyer protections I still wouldn't buy anything from BuyDig!
This was the primary question I wanted to answer when I first saw this listing as I presumed Skyworth would remain Amazon exclusive for some time to come.
Good luck!
Jon

Check out the HD guru review linked above. They go into it. Basically any kind of calibration options are not there. The other stuff isn't either but it should be turned off anyways
You offer no value here. Just a hater for haters sake.
It's bought from Ebay via BuyDig - anyone who knows anything will know you'll be taken care of if still under warranty.
OK, let me explain it, in a simple manner.
.. as someone already commented. This is a Chinese domestic brand,
Their Customer service is basically useless.Good luck getting a representative that can fully understand English.
They will give you the run around...transfer you multiple times before you're disconnected.
They will provide the most basic solutions... are you sure the TV is plugged in, try turning the TV off then on... maybe that'll fix the problem...try performing a factory reset... we are scheduled for a software update/patch in a few months.. maybe that'll fix the problem.
"IF" you're lucky. They won't blame you for the problem.
Eventually, they will ask for you to ship back the TV to them "at your own expense."
TCL & Hisense "USED" to do that before they became mainstream and realized it was bad business practice.

Hisense still does that man. I'm dealing with their crap customer service trying to return the U8G I got under their 100 day guarantee.
LOL I still have one in my living room. Great picture for a $300 Wal-Mart clearance purchase ~6-7 years ago. The TV randomly freezes or just shuts off from time to time (once a day I'd say). Most of the apps do not work, so you must use a Roku/Chromecast. It is still a fine looking TV, it is so subtle and looks premium that NOBODY has ever noticed what brand it is or made a comment other than "that TV looks really nice".
I really want to replace it at this point. When it freezes it must be reset from the back of the TV. It is embarrassing when it randomly shuts off while we have guests, although it has become a running joke as I yell at the nearest person "WHAT"D YOU DO?!".
I still say it was a great purchase while waiting for OLED prices to drop. I've been holding out for 65" OLED prices to get around $1200. We're still not there yet, unfortunately. Not sure how much longer I can hold out.
Haha I still have mine but moved it from my living room to my bedroom. I use one of the Walmart ONN 4k android TV boxes on it now though since the onboard system is too outdated. Works perfect and picture is still great!

With many of these bargain basement brands I'd suggest that the default should always be to opt out of connecting these devices online. Not because they're hacking risks... they can't be hacked if the spyware is a feature:

How do they handle the warranty?
Customer service will tell you to bring to one of their factories in China for a no questions asked replacement.

Vizio TV buyers are becoming the product Vizio sells, not just its customers [arstechnica.com]
Good luck!
