I been researching a lot for these stand up desk and been watching Vari desk to come down and instead it went up $100

The EN1 with $80 off comes to $249 which isn't too bad compared to this one since it comes with position memory presets. From another thread people seem to strongly recommend position memory which I can definitely see useful. My company is offering $500 reimbursement for WFH desk/chair. This seems like a solid choice.

I just set up the model EC9 for my kid yesterday. Base is sturdy. Him being 8, I also bought one of those clear table protectors. Motor operation is smooth.
The EN1 with $80 off comes to $249 which isn't too bad compared to this one since it comes with position memory presets. Nice, I wish my job offered a perk like that! Since my last post, I've (for better and worse) more or less become "enlightened" the past week and a half from super extensive research, decided to not cheap out on a desk, and invest in my setup. I went from cancelling that $140 one I mentioned to a better one[amazon.com] that came to $311 (after applying for an Amazon Business Prime Duo account, getting it discounted and using sign up bonus gift card), then cancelling that after realizing glass and monitor mounts don't mix and almost spending comparing the quality and reviews of all the sub-$1000 players like Jarvis, Uplift, iMovr, etc. and their Black Friday sales to finally settling on the DIY route and buying a base from these guys[desk.haus] I found on the standing desks Subreddit.
Huge run-on sentence above aside , I'm still determining what table top I'm going to order now. I'd order from those same guys I just did, but their tops to have pre-drilled grommet holes unfortunately. Only reason I didn't go the FlexiSpot route was because I want a stable and lasting frame to last me several years. Their desks look nice for those that aren't trying to be as hardcore about it like me haha.
