Take an old storage device (hard drive, floppy disk, and card, usb stick, etc) to Best Buy and recycle it for a 15% off coupon good on WD/SanDisk drives. Then buy the drive there.

What do you think is better from a product support point of view, Costco or Best Buy? I don't expect that something will go wrong with such a high quality drive, but it is good to have that extra security. And from the returns perspective, Best Buy has extended return policy until Jan 16, 2022, and Costco seems to have 90 days on this drive, doesn't it?

Ayeeo! I want a 2tb ssd, but this price for my needs is a tad too high still. Maybe that Cosco deal coming up🤔or I might just grab a 2tb MX500 for 179$ sooner. I don't think the PS5 or X1X can even really take advantage of external NVME or whatever is on the inside of this thing, to properly hit 1000+. Sata seems more then adequate for external PS4 games in testing. This ScanDisk is good looking in person though lol

These are meant to be portable and are designed to be more durable than 'normal' external drives and you'll be paying a premium for that. If you're just using it as a stationary drive or it never leaves your home, you don't need to shell out the extra money for this drive.

PLEASE adjust the title/description.
This is NOT the PRO model!
Pro model is around 50% more expensive (over $300) and also close to double max speeds (2,000 MB/s)

this " new " version is much faster than the first, but definitely different use scenario than the PRO
