IMO, nothing beats a real mop + proper grease cutting soap for a kitchen floor. these steam mops are really more so for polishing and getting the occasional stuck on stain off the floor with a bit of heat. you could do both with a regular mop, but a steam mop is more convenient in other areas of the house. just my two cents.

IMO, nothing beats a real mop + proper grease cutting soap for a kitchen floor. these steam mops are really more so for polishing and getting the occasional stuck on stain off the floor with a bit of heat. you could do both with a regular mop, but a steam mop is more convenient in other areas of the house. just my two cents.
The floors will dry very quickly after using this, and this does a great job at condensing dust around your corners so that they can actually be vacuumed/sweeped.
Steam alone wont clean up greasy floors, so if youre like me, you use this in conjunction with a wet mop and floor cleaner. This also does not play well with wooden floors.
I use vacuum--->traditional mop (wash and rinse) --->steam mop (bonus: it causes the rinse from the last step to evaporate much more quickly) --->vacuum again.
