Nice. If you need one now awesome price. Next year coming out with smaller sizes and lots more options if used as a monitor.

Good deal. I paid $1,450 last year for the CX version and use it as a gaming monitor (I sit about 6 feet away). Best upgrade ever for my PC gaming experience...

so basically an automatic $100 rebate. At $999 including 4yr accidental (w) burn-in this is the best I've seen.

What is it about OLED TVs that retailers insist on creating these BS bundles instead of just lowering the price?

Love mine

But I am still curious how they will try to deny burn-in insurance claims in a few years

For anyone that's using it as a monitor, what's your seating distance from the TV?y desk is not very deep so I'm wondering if it's going to be too close

Got the same deal from a few days ago. Buydig credited back $100+tax to original payment method. No issue with the tv and it's amazing.

It's not specific to OLEDs necessarily, large TV manufacturers can force universal retail price on items. They're required to be a certain price per the contracts or the retailer can get in trouble with the manufacturer.

That actually makes a lot of sense! Thanks

I have been eye balling the 55 inch version of this for my primary TV and see it currently hovering around $1,200 across various sites
Any able to predict if this may go lower in the coming weeks? I want to hold off until the Black Friday Holiday Shopping season, but also kind of want it now

My eye is at 36 inch from this TV and that requires the back of the stand to be at 44" away. (8 inch from screen to back of stand if it's not wall mounted).

My desk is only 30" deep so I ended up using another desk to put tv on like an extension of my desk. Wall mount would be better but I have concrete wall here so that would be pain.

Honestly, burnin is not really much of a problem nowadays. I'm using 2 OLEDs myself and game/leave them on some screens. There's some good built in protection. While there are certainly people that will experience it, sales will far outweigh the amount that will have to be covered.

Edit: I'd also like to say that OLED is definitely the superior experience and I'll never be going back to another type of monitor or TV unless it can exceed the quality that OLED brings.

I've never had an issue with CPS, and this is a very specific CPS warranty that specifically mentions burn-in is covered. They sell the exact same warranty w/o burn-in coverage for less money.
