Just researched on XDA, looks like NO for the Tracfone variant. (SM-S515DL)
There is a private grey seller that will unlock samsung devices for $65. Too steep for something like this.
There are also no custom roms for this variant either, only the SM-A51_ models.

I ordered late last night, cancelled early the next morning. I figure if I try a new account or via phone order it will likely also get cancelled. No idea why, address/names/payment info all match in the system. This verification department isn't open til monday.

On HSN website about service it says as just 1500 min/text/data but not 1 year of service. Can someone confirm is 1500 min/text/data every month or just one month.

The minutes,texts, data with the purchase are for one full year of service. Not each month. Meaning, if it says 1500minutes, you have 1500 minutes for 365 days. Not 1500 minutes each month.

Might be best if you do some research on how TF works.
When you run out you buy more of whatever you need, there's no contract - but phone will not be usable on another network until it's unlocked which takes 12 months of TF service.

I know there's a way to stack the current $40 tracfone deal prepaid sim that's on going. Is there a way to get this phone and stack the 1 year prepaid service that comes with it on an existing tracfone line I currently have?

I've seen a few people asking about unlocking, network, etc but I'm a bit confused. It's for tracfone, which some are saying IS verizon and it's locked. So if I am currently a verizon prepaid user would I be able to just swap sims into this and be good? Or is it locked to 'tracfone' specifically, I've seen some say verizon.

Yes, you can always activate a new SIM and transfer your existing TF number/balance. But be careful if you intend to unlock the device. You need to be on the plan + locked phone for 12 months before you can unlock it.

No. The phone is locked to TF family. Verizon prepaid SIM won't work.

Yes the SIM will work on another phone. But after 12 months, you can't unlock the device because the SIM was used in a different phone. If your intention is to use the SIM, get the 1-yr BYOP SIM (also FP deal).

Does anyone know how durable the screen is? I've been a big clutz lately & have dropped my phone several times. I'm wondering if I should buy a screen protector & have it ready. Also, any suggestions for a better case?
