This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

I want to bite so bad but I don't want to go through the same mess again. Yes I was able to get the S7+ at an amazing deal but the constant calls to customer service and the emails were a nightmare. Think I'm gonna wait and see what happens.

I almost did, but even with 2-3hrs on the phone+chat they ended up canceling mine. Definitely the worst customer service experience that I've had in years. Wanted to smash the phone listening to their verbal diarrhea.

How did you get them to send yours?

I have a few old devices too but I don't trust Samsung enough to bite. I'll give it a few days. If it's it available anymore then it wasn't meant to be.

It's worth a shot to recycle my 1ST gen iPad air to a newer supported device. I hope it goes through!
