This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

It seems like you haven't dealt with Samsung. They have 14-day return policy. And their trade-in evaluation takes in general more than 4-6 weeks. I am personally not going to deal with this BS, tbh. Good luck!

Wow, I just order one to pick up @ bestbuy tomorrow. I guess, i will get pickup email or text when available. I am trading in my Nexus 7. If samusng does not honor my trade in, then, I will return tablet. This works out cause I also need a headset. Time return my bud plus from Walmart Smilie

This is the written remedy Samsung states for non qualifying tradein products on the s7 checkout page : 'If you do not send your trade-in device, or it does not meet the eligibility requirements, Samsung reserves the right to disable your New Samsung Product remotely' Pretty funny. Notice it does not say that you are on the hook for $350.
