This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

I see many complains about unsuccessful trade-ins. Last year i got a trade in done successfully, everything went perfect. If you are not trying to fool them and actually send a real working device as per the contract, there is no reason to worry!!

I've done several trade-ins over the last 4 years and have never had that issue. They've taken at most a week to confirm the trade in was valid and I have never had a trade in rejected. I know a couple of people who have had trades rejected, but their devices were in borderline condition to begin with.

After placing your order, does anyone know where the trade in instructions are? As in, address to send to, what accessories (if any) to send along with. I've not received an email with any of that info, which I would expect.

They even fixed the BF ad. It was showing $350 credit, now it shows up to $230 lol

I haven't had issues either. I was pointing out the obvious. Lately, they have been very slow processing the trade-ins YMMV

If they actually ship your stuff you'll get an email. Once that email is sent you can also print label from the order details in your Sammy account. Relax 😜
