This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Even if you pick it up successfully, you're still on the hook for $350 that Samsung will charge you if you can't do a trade-in.

I called and confirmed with Samsung on the phone that they are indeed giving $350 trade in. Confirmed my exact model and everything and was told it's $350. They suggested taking pictures of the tablet prior to trade in. Did in store pickup at my local best buy too for everything. Order confirmed already and ready to go.

While I think this is a price mistake, they are supposedly manufacturing the Tab S8 in January which may explain the sale. Also, this way of doing it gets competitors off the street.
