Ok thanks. Forget this. I have too many balls to juggle in life to juggle w this crap. I love scoring deals but sometimes when you lose few weeks of life due to stress and frustration simple not worth it. In 4 a cancel lol. I'll stick to my Sonos deal
Yes, exactly where I am on this deal. If there was no trade-in uncertainty, I'd go for it, but $350 at risk is just too much, and definitely don't want to spend hours on disputes etc.

Agreed! I have been here done that and never have I felt value was worth the opportunity cost.

This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on deals prior a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Samsung Trade-in Program terms&conditions here: https://www.samsung.com/us/trade-...onditions/
Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

What if, the $350 Trade in fell off and Samsung ends up charging you the additional $350......do u think you can still click RETURN on the order and get full refund back?

If that's possible, i think is a risk worth taking.......if you are lucky, Samsung might come through this round and make it right?
I am rolling my dice this time and pray
1. You may not know the appraisal of your trade-in until after your 2-week return window expires.
2. IMO: DO NOT expect Samsung to "make anything right"…unless you spend countless hours of your time on the phone with their useless call centre reps and escalation after escalation with empty promises.

ontop Raku is 10% off CB too sweeet.
That is why things are the way they are and most of these sales are a shit show because of people like you buying all this shit in bulk for resell. Shame on you.

I just completed "the deal" and it did work. They gave me $350 for my old GalaxyTab 10.2 but would have also given me as much for my old Note8. Honestly, I saw myself having more use for the Note8 going forward than I did the tablet. When it got to the point it couldn't even operate the app updates to read comic books, it was time but I'll miss it. It was a great tablet and I'm sure I could have found something for it to be doing or will have something happen in the next week that will make me wish I'd kept it because it would have been perfect for the crisis du jour.
Or, I may be happily writing away on a 12-inch AMOLED screen and praising my trusty old tablet for allowing me to get one for just under $400 w/tax instead of the grand+ everyone seems to want to get for them everywhere else I've looked. Now, we'll just see what happens, how long it really takes to get here, and if they really give me $350 for my old GalaxyTab. I mean, it's not only in perfect shape but it's even got its original charger and box! I actually got it for $50 or so on eBay sometime in 2018 from a seminary student (he was studying to be a priest) and I was amazed at how clean it was when it got here, in its original packaging. He claimed he'd been using it for school and used it a lot. I try to keep my gear running and looking as nice as I can - I respect my electronics and mine do seem to last longer than a lot of other people's but this tablet looked like it had just been pulled from the sales floor. It still looks that way and if they even hint that they're going to try and stick me for additional money, well, that's why we have more than one debit card account, isn't it? Can't take what isn't there. I would never tell someone to do that to cheat someone but I have heard enough stories about customers getting burned and then never getting the trade-in returned that I think a little healthy caution is advised.

IF my order confirms and I can actually pick it up from Best Buy tomorrow... I kinda think it may actually still be worth it even if my trade-in gets cut/rejected and I have to pay some or all of the $350. I guess it really hinges on whether they honor the discount on the actual tablet - my order confirmation for just the tablet shows $649.99 crossed out to $149.99. If I'm still getting a subtotal $847.94 package for ~$500 with no TIV discount I can probably live with that tbh... Can anyone around for the other fiasco tell me if they at least honored the promotional, free buds, and bundle discounts that are showing in my order details?

I'll be waiting to hear how it goes for you. I couldn't pick up at any of my local Best Buy stores so I'm supposed to get it by the 10th. I signed up for text shipping & tracking alerts.

You might be able to get 10 percent back from Samsung if you chat and ask to cancel. At least I was offered that.

I'm legit trying to cancel though because it's not worth the risk for trade in for me. They couldn't cancel because already in fulfillment for Best Buy pick up.

No problem. Just ship it back when you receive it (I use ups) and you'll get refunded in a week or two.

Does it matter if your trade-in is carrier locked?
