This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

I would also add a couple of pieces of cardboard to provide rigidity and to further protect the screen. Any carrier can occasionally mangle a box, especially during a busy shipping season. Especially now, with covid, many workers may not give a fark.

Look on Offerup, just start by searching Lenovo tablet then go to Asus and then move on to find the cheapest. But remember, we dont know if this will work yet, so we could all be calling Samsung 15 times for all we know LOL

I picked up my 128GB this morning at BBY without much issue. Their system was down at the moment so they had to write down the info to enter later. The guy in front of me was picking up the same thing and the employees said it was a popular item today.

I initially ordered a 512GB to be shipped to me when I first saw the deal. I later tried to cancel it but it just spun and then the option to cancel disappeared, saying that the order had already left their facility, which obviously wasn't true ~45 minutes later.

I feel slightly better about the legitimacy of the deal that well over 12 hours later they're still offering $350 for everything.

Wondering if anyone has past trade-in experience to answer this. I intend to trade in a lenovo 8" tablet that is still new in box. Can I send it as is, new in box or do I need to open it, charge it and then send it?

Still a big risk. Saw a deal on a Tab A7 where they're offering much lower trade-in values
