This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Right right, just in my particular case having bought a brand new cheap Samsung tablet as a trade-in, I'm not sure how I get screwed on that aspect.

Also, I'm buying it to keep but yeah if you're buying it with any intent to resell I totally understand not opening the Tab S7.

Has anyone ran into this issue?

I bought 2 tablets on the same order, they just emailed me the trade in instructions and this is what it says:

Please send your trade-in device iPhone 6S (Device 1/2) by November 21, 2021 using the shipping label you can download below to keep the $350.00 trade-in credit you received with order #xxxxxxxxx Please note that each trade-in device must be sent in a separate box with the correct shipping label.

This is confusing since they only sent one label and it only mentions one $350 credit.

Online chatted 2 reps and they both said they could not change my trade-in order to a different device, fwiw. After I asked if the Nexus 7 is an acceptable model, she said "as long as the device works fine, and is ASUS brand, it will be accepted"

Ordered mine yesterday and picked up my tablet and free earbuds this morning at Best Buy. Not sure how I'm gonna trade in my Samsung s8. Good luck trying to get it from me. I used a prepaid Visa card. Lol

I wasn't signed into my account (i don't have one) but i got a pickup email, then a trade in email. but if you click on your order status in the first ordering email, it'll show 'label generated' and have a button to click to print it.
