Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

Note: they mention they can even remotely disable your device (!!!) if they feel you haven't kept up your end of the deal with a proper trade-in.

The issue I have, though, is I think I paid sales tax on the full price of the tablet, so why would I be charged sales tax on the trade-in value AGAIN?
Of course, it's all moot if my $350 LG tablet trade in gets rejected.
Maybe someone at Samsung realized the FU but decided to just let the orders through because, well, they already screwed up before, and decided they can't keep delivering a sh!t show every time they screw up (seems pretty frequent).

Now the new trade in states "up to" $500. So not only does it state up to but they also raised the trade in limit to $500. It looks more like the promotion is gone instead of fixing a bug.
Of course, it's all moot if my $350 LG tablet trade in gets rejected.

Items picked up at Best Buy stores, orders should be returned to a Best Buy store within 15 days.
