This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

They're going to have which tablet you selected in your account. I personally wouldn't play the game of switching out a different tablet than what you said when you ordered, unless you're cool with increasing the odds of rejection and getting charged $350. Text on a return label doesn't mean anything.

This isn't true. They always have trade-in selections for older iPads like the Air and the Air 2. The iPad Air was released in 2013.

That status of "Created" just indicates an order has been placed and doesn't reflect anything else. Typically the label comes via email after the item is shipped out. We'll have to see how they do it this time.

I remember reading somewhere in this thread a person sent in a Samsung phone with a crack small enough he didn't even notice, and got dinged $100. I would expect that to be the best case scenario for you, but that was tiny and on their brand. 🤷♀️

the return email says to ship in S7 box ; if things do not as planned this may be an issue while returning S7.
Should returning in any box be fine? anyone has any experience with this?

I'm waiting for my ebay exchange tablet to come and will mail it out like that. I don't want to open up my s7 until it's approved/ denied.
