This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

What won't arrive on time? I picked up my tablet/buds yesterday(Nov 6th) and also dropped off my trade-in device to FedEx same day as well.

Ah okay gotcha, I feel the same so hopefully my trade-in is arrived and accepted for the $350 credit before the deadline, I don't feel like paying $550 for the 128gb s7 and buds 2. It's like getting the free buds with the tablet purchase but I don't even need/want the buds lol.

I feel like Samsung can screw anyone with trade-in including the experienced Samsung customer like me. But comments and questions I see here make me cringe. Not trying to be funny here, but I feel like many new and rookie members are going to get disappointed. Good luck!

I've played with the brightness settings a bit. It comes out of the box at 38% which shows the off-axis dimming more prominently than at higher brightness. I've got the brightness at about 2/3 setting now, and using dark-mode, so things look a lot better. Playing some 4K demo videos, the colors are fantastic.

I'm still going to look at what they have on display at BB but since their lighting is bright fluorescent, it may be different than what I see at home.

I would say pick it up and try it yourself. If you hate it, you can return it, right?
