This is confusing. So I can trade-in a Nexus 7 tablet and get the $350 credit applied?

Edit: Prepare for tears, y'all. This is going to be a mess.

Friendly advice: If you're interested in any of these tablets…just go buy them outright without the hoops & games. Samsung either has so much customer volume that they don't care about the complaints or they just flat-out don't care about their individual customers. Based on the many deals prior this year: a small percentage may score this, but there are a lot of variables working against you (1.They Cancel your initial order / 2. cancel your trade-in from a litany of arbitrary reasons and bill you the $350 TIV / 3. make you wait over the tight 2-week return window to verify/appraise your trade-in…just to name a few) and their call centres are HORRENDOUSLY DIFFICULT and time-intensive to deal with when there are issues. People have even had their money in limbo for weeks to months (without using CC chargeback) in hopes of getting their orders fulfilled amidst weeks of shipping delay after delay after delay…

If anyone wants to be nice can you please answer these questions if you know (or at least think). I get that know one truly knows until they get their trade in accepted.

1) can we trade in something different that what we picked initially? Anyone asked a CS rep?

2) if we trade in and they don't accept, what are we out? The trade in and a charge for the full retail price of the tablet and buds? (unless we can still return them)

3)If picking up from BB, when do we have to return the item. 15 days or the holiday time of Jan?

I got one at BB but it's a drive an not sure I want to deal with this. Just need some more info. Thanks!!

1. If you want to increase your chance of getting accepted, it's better to be the same brand/model. In some cases, the model doesn't matter. Ex. Lenovo
2. Pay $350 Smilie You can get back your trade-in and it would be shipped for free

My card was charged for a S7 on 11/5. When I checked the order status, it says order placed and below that it says "faster". Anyone in a similar situation or know what that means?

I ordered mine on the 6th and I have the same order status as you. I'm guessing that faster means faster processing. My PayPal account was charged so I'm curious to see if it ships. I'm trading in a old tab 3 but I'm not going to open the package until my trade goes through.
