Last year the TV could be bought for $300.
Looks like Hisense still has LCD panels form the 58" Sharp TVs they made some 2 years ago.

There seem to be some improvements. But no Full Array Local Dimming.

Would be interesting to see how this 58" actually is in performance from CUSTOMER reviews since I am not sure it's the same as the one form 2019. So. . . maybe better?

Here is one review. .. https://www.zkelectronics.com/tv/...8r6e3/usa/

If anyone asks about built in speakers must never watch movies.

How is this a deal when the newer Hisense 55 r7 with eARC and VRR is the same price on Costco?

A great TV for the money, but as a few already said it was cheaper last year.

Not a deal, been at this price all year since it shot up $100 this year, I managed to pick one up for $278 May 2020. The TV itself is fine though.

My last hisense 43" lasted one year. Never had a tv go out so fast in my life.

I have had this since 5/20 and so far so good. I get a lot of eyestrain from my bright TCL 6 series so it's nice to not burn my eyeballs all day. The set looks really good at night since most content isn't HDR. The Roku OS is hard to beat but I use my 4K firestick for Directv stream. Just the right size for general streaming and lower energy consumption.
