I have the 50" version which i believe is identical to 58".
4 years old last week. broke. bought another one. $230ish.

it fits the bill:
i wanted a tv under $300.
Dolby vision, etc.
bedroom TV
Roku cause it has a clear interface and i watch Roku 100%.
One button switching from Roku to a computer screen(computer screen resolution is below average but i still use it hours a day.)
I listen 99% time via nice sounding headphones on a remote. tv sound is awful--get a soundbar.

Compared all Roku TVs under $400. This TV seems to be the best. Contrary to what i wrote above.

Parents need a tv for their vacation house on short notice. Ended up ordering this and delivery later today. They have no internet so would have to use antenna and roku interface is easier and simple for them

Planning to order one. wondering if the 4 year protection plan is worth it for $33 - any thoughts?

our 55 Hisense tv is broken after 4-5 years. If you use it a lot, i would get the $39 for 5 years.

Same. 50" just took a dump last night. The WiFi functionality died a couple years ago and have been using it with different devices and live tv for sports. Last night it started shutting off and on, repeatedly with no fix.

My turntable is 50 years old. It uses sophisticated lasers to sense the size of a record and self adjusts. It has delicate timing and placement functions. And it has many many years of life in it.

But the pos tvs can't last more than four years with well below average use? Ridiculous.
