Getting overwhelmed by choices. Need a tv to replace the 40" Samsung 720p screen from 15 years ago. It goes in the basement playroom which is mostly used for playing Switch and watching Netflix. This or one of the Hisense models for sub-$500 at Best Buy?

Have 55 inch one from 2019 Black Friday. Paid around $190 before tax, recycle fee from target. Solid, basic bedroom tv. Been wanting to upgrade to 65" for awhile
