Besides Irwin, DeWalt blades are the worst Ive ever used. Look elsewhere, literally anywhere else.

These will work fine for very basic tasks, but for anything serious, I would stay away. I remember trying to cut plastic pieces and ~3" tree branches with my neighbor's recipro (Dewalt blade) and it worked, but very high effort. Diablo blades are like night and day for clean wood and Milwaukee Torch cut through wrought iron like butter. It pays to have the right accessory for the job unless you enjoy suffering.

For these kind of tools and blades, check out ProjectFarm on YouTube, he has great unbiased reviews. You'll definitely see which blades are better for your needs

Haha damn where is the rest of my comment? Anyways, the current set at homedepot as part of blackfriday has like 28 Diablo blades and has a few longer ones. Was going to buy one for like 15 bucks and ended up buying that instead.

How long are these blades supposed to last? I just need them to cut a few 2x4 and some metal underneath my car (once in a while).

I was going buy this but you guys are not liking the quality. Any suggestions for something on sale now or in future? I just need a 5 or 10 pack.... nothing major.

I'll second this opinion. I have a full line of DeWalt tools I like but their saw blades (circular, sawzall, etc.) have all been cheap crap that uses the yellow brand for sales. I've had new circular saw blades throw teeth and my last slickdeals purchase of these sawzall blades feels like cutting with dull old blades even though it was my first use with these. Have had much better luck with Diablo brand stuff.

This [homedepot.com] is what you need.

[EDIT] Had a 12" Crypt Myrtle I need to cut down. Tried a few blades with my Sawzall and went to HD thinking about renting a chainsaw. Saw this blade and the rest is history.

This seemed like a pretty good deal, but with the comments I'm seeing, I'd rather pay a little extra for quality blades. However, I'm not paying $12 for one blade.
I'd look for a set that's good for both metals and wood like this set.

They work alright, frankly no better than the Harbor Freight blades (they rebranded Diablo to Hercules/Bauer, apparently), probably should've just went for those. A lot of issues people have with these is generally from improper use (lack of sufficient back pressure, not clearing gullets, base plate engagement, etc.).

Project Farm video still holds up pretty well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uwg3deSgAMo

Bought a couple packs for $9 each literally 4 days ago to tear down a deck, they won't give me the $2.50 difference. Didn't know they dropped the price drop guarantee for things sold and shipped by Amazon, even using their own CC.

About to buy another one to immediately return and stick it to them because I'm petty.

Has anyone tried to apply the $5 download bonus for downloading the iOS app to this deal? You need a rewards account and to wait 24 hours after downloading the app in order to receive the $5.
