I was unable to get Best Buy to match, but I did get Target to match the Staples ad. See below for my experience.

I went to 2 Staples stores in search for the Series 6 44m at the advertised $279 and neither carried Apple Watches in store. Tried to price match at Walmart.com and BestBuy.com but no luck because they said it was a "daily offer" and they didn't accept price matching for Weekly Ads. Called Target support (that experience was awful and I could barely hear the rep because of the loud call center she was in) and they seemed to be okay matching it, but since the Apple Watch Series 6 wasn't available for order pick-up I'd have to purchase in store then call back to price match. Luckily, I had no issue price matching in-store from the Staples ad and even got the additional 5% Red Card discount. YMMV but I wanted to share my experience. Happy to finally have one in hand!

Went to my Staples after the online message that it was available in my local store. 4 mile drive. None available in store and the checker said none available in the distribution center.

A ploy to get people in the store. A handful available. Staples used it as bait.

I got lucky! I was able to get Apple Watch thru Target chat.

Tried chatting with target. First rep seemed to want to help, but got disconnected. Second rep said due to it being in store only, not a valid match. Third rep said they were unable to find the upc on staples website (I guess they weren't using the link I shared), so they won't do it… that's a bummer, plus, target only has the 40mm blue one now anyway

I was able to get the 40mm in Blue price matched they target chat. Staples had it for $249 I believe.

Yesterday. I got lucky cause the guy said it's not eligible but was able to honor it as a one time thing.
