This is a great deal. It is running for at least a week. Better go to the stores they have a lot of options for free tools

Doesn't appear to be hackable. When HD creates the bundle for you it's one line item. Sometimes you can recreate it in your cart and get the same bundle price and be able to hack it. I didn't find a combo that worked for this deal like that.

This should be the way forward for HD. The way they have been doing it could be the stupidest thing I've seen a successful business ever do.

This deal is hackable, I was able to return the two free items and end up paying $223 before tax for the drill, wrench, 2 5ah battery, quick charger and a carrying bag. Last time I check, home depot only have like 1 or 2 in stock per store.

YMMV. My store (8582) had this kit marked down to $379 with the two free tools. There may be a price drop soon on this, idk. The price did not ring up as $379, but they honored the $379 since it was advertised as such on the display case in the isles.

A lot of these deals are driven by the manufacturer. I doubt HD loses anything in the returns other than the labor for grabbing parts for pick up.

Hell of a good deal on the impact and drill + batteries if you can return the 2 free tools.

Both impact/drill are top of the line Makita's, the impact alone goes for $159 for the bare tool.

If you are at all on the fence GET THIS COMBO
