Skip the 3-pack X20 and get the 3-pack X60 from Costco for 20 bucks more (if you are or know a Costco member).

BS. I have them in both homes, including KASA devices. Rick solid.

Could you provide some context instead of leaving useless comments?

I have used TP-Link products for a long time and have never had a single issue. Their Kasa line of smart switches and plugs is fantastic IMO, especially factoring in the price component. Their routers are also solid, although admittedly not as feature rich historically as some other brands like ASUS or Netgear. On the other hand, my Netgear routers all had connectivity issues and died after a few years due to unstable firmware updates. My TP-Link mesh system has been running without a problem for over a year.

Can anyone comment on going from a Netgear Nighthawk X4 AC2350 to one of the mesh systems? Pros/cons? Obviously speed is less with AC1200 or AC1800, but I'm curious if the real world impacts are substantial or not. Mesh sounds intriguing, but I'm not entirely sure that I need one (1900 ft2 house, no real dead spots but 5GHz band has trouble upstairs).

Would this be a good choice as a hardwired/wireless bridge?

The main router is a tp link ax11000

Anyone have any experience with the TP Link powerline adapters? My router is in the basement and I need a decent solution for the xbox which resides in a 2nd story bedroom where the wifi if so so. Unfortunately moca is not an option but looking for something simple for a stable low latency connection for the xbox.

Thanks,

-Guru

If you don't have a ridiculously big house, Walmart [walmart.com] has a two pack of the X60s for only $149. I have them and have one on the first floor and the other on the second floor and it works great. I have 1Gb internet and was able to get 750mbps on my phone with speed test, that's the fastest I've ever gotten on speed test. The app doesn't give a lot of control over the routers though, so if you want that control you'll want something else. For those that want to set it and forget it and have good coverage they work great and are simple to setup.

Maybe I'm missing something but this appears to be the Deco W6000(2-pack).

They're the same routers as the X60, I'm guessing Walmart had them give it a different name.

I'm waiting on a deal for the x68 myself. I don't feel like wiring my back-haul, so I could benefit from the tri-band of the x68.

Edit: Looks like Amazon currently has a coupon code to make an x68 2-pack $220, which is the same unit cost as the Costco 3-pack for $330. I need/want 3, so this doesn't help me, but it's a good price if you only need 2.

Thank you, I got the x68 2pack. I only have 1800sqft house. I bought the one (x60) from costco for the same price but its 3pack. Tri-band and wifi6 should be a nice upgrade from a router.

Is the ax55 worth it over the ax21 or would one not really notice a difference? Is it also best to pair one of those with a deco mesh or the re315 extender mesh?

I have 2,000sq home with $20 wifi router. Wifi seems to work fine though out the house. Any benefits of getting this?

It it's working fine for you, I wouldn't change it.... benefit could be faster and more stable speeds...possibly would extend your Wifi range into your front/backyards.
