No, you selectively highlighted a portion of the sentence. Also, you might want to got to the bow flex website for the most accurate info. If you find the actual manufacturer saying it, let us know.

And my friend who owns the bike and uses her peloton would also beg to differ with you. 😂
The person you're replying to is correct and it's stated on the website.

Scroll down to the question about using streaming apps without a subscription and the response is that you must have an active JRNY subscription to use those services.

The bike itself does come with an annual subscription though for free which is a $150 value. Possibly your friend didn't realize they have a free subscription? As for the other apps, those would need to be used with a tablet or phone. They are not installed on the device and the device/screen doesn't allow installing apps from what I remember.

I have one on the way. I was eyeing cheaper bikes but this comes with a heart monitor, and I can use it with multiple apps. One review erroneously said it leans but I think only the next step up the velos have a leaning mode.

For $650 it's a way better deal than other similar specced bikes.

For those that have this bike or other bikes, what would you say makes this or other bikes at different price points worth it? Is it the screen?

Nice find OP.
This is essentially the same as the Schwinn IC4 other then the screen I think? I have the IC4 and the speed seems to register way too fast... i.e. I can be barely pedaling on whatever resistance and the speed is very inflated. Does anyone who has either of these know how to fix that or if it can be fixed?

TIA
If this is the same as IC4 then isn't this not much of a deal? I'm pretty sure the retail price of the IC4 is $999.99

This is slightly "better" than the IC4 due to the on board screen. I'm not sure I understand your logic... how is this not a deal if it's $100 less than the IC4 plus it includes a $250 Target GC? The do have the IC4 with a $200 GC now at $999 which is not a bad deal either, but this one on the C7 is obviously better. I actually paid full price for my IC4 as I bought it during the heart of Corona and it was hard to get one at all, let alone a deal on one.

Schwinn 430 or 470? 430 has a $100 gift card. Not sure how good one is over the other.

Had the same question regarding subscription. Can you stream Netflix without JRNY? Anyone can clarify?

Do the stats on screen work without subscription? Happy with Peloton sub and not planning to use JRNY at all.

The service is called JRNY?

Does it just play an endless loop of "Don't Stop Ba-reathing"?

Have been researching exercise bikes recently. While the Bowflex C7 does have a built-in screen, the screen appears to only work with JRNY and streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, etc.) and only works with an active JRNY subscription. If you want to use Peloton or other services you would use your own tablet or phone.
You can jailbreak the tablet easily to use Peloton and anything available on Google Play.

I am a fat dude on his way to glory. What are other bikes with 330 weight limit that are on par with this one?

I paid full price on basically this bike last year (c6 w/o screen). I really like the bike (I use with peloton app) and this is an excellent deal.
With the lower model Peloton bike now at 1,495, would you have gotten that instead?
