I've had 2 optomitrists refuse to give me that info because they knew what I was doing with the info instead of buying an identical pair from their shop for $300+. Costco vision center has a machine they pop in front of your eyes for 2 seconds and they give you the pupil distance. Didn't have to be a member, sign anything, or pay for anything.
I've been ordering glasses from Goggles4u for like a decade (five or six pairs per year because they're so darn cheap with promo codes working all the time). I've also ordered from Zenni. This year, I tried KITS when I needed glasses quickly and I'm very happy. Quality on the two pairs I've ordered has been noticeably higher than Goggles4u.

I ordered with anti-glare coating and it came to about $20 shipped. My first order arrived two days after placing it. Second order took 3 or 4 days. Around the time of the second order I also placed an order with Goggles4u (I like having a few pairs and the cost is prescription sunglasses is far more expensive with KITS since you can pretty much always use a 70% off code at Goggles4u). The glasses I ordered from Goggles4u took more than a month to arrive this last time.

Anyway, what I'm saying is that I'm a happy customer of a competitor and I'd still recommend KITS and buy from them again. I would note though that this code is on all the time, so this isn't a new deal or one you can't always get.
Yeah, I did that and then noticed in the order confirmation - verify prescription by phone and then in the email it states they'd contact my doctor about my prescription and to make sure my prescription is accurate because doctors don't always pick up the phone. Not sure if that's some sort of legal thing they just have to state or what.

I've ordered from other sites before, but this one actually has a prescription verification check? If anyone knows what that entails, I'd appreciate it. On other sites, I just manually input my prescription and I'm good to go.
I ordered from them through this deal in April. I'm 100% sure I did not have to verify my prescription. I manually entered it. I also believe it said I'd need to have it verified then but not 100% on that.

i ordered one earlier this year and upgraded the lens. it was worth it. i entered my prescription manually, and i don't believe they verified it either. the style i got looks exactly like my wife's unisex gentle monster glasses that cost her ~$300.

Just bought some. $33 shipped with the AR package for an additional $24. These will be used for work as beaters. This will also be my first set of glasses ever. Thank you op!!! Also, nowhere during the checkout process was my prescription asked to be confirmed.

How did you all get your pupil distance? The doctor I went to refuse to give me the measurements and a couple apps I tried gave me all different number every time

If you don't mind me asking, what sites? My script is expired & I don't love going to doctor. Eyes have been the same forever. But need new glasses.
Sorry for the late reply, the last one I ordered from was goggles4u, I typically just browse SD and see if there are any eyeglass sites offering coupons (you can set alerts for this, like "glasses") and that's when I order, it's too cheap not to order a spare or two. Also, I received my order from this thread a few weeks ago and they're pretty much what I expect, same quality as other sites and around the same price with a coupon.

Yeah, mine came a couple weeks ago, forgot to update, thanks for the quote. I didn't have to do anything for verification in the end, I am guessing it was what I believed it to be, just something to skirt the rules when it comes to ordering things that needs a prescription and they just needed to add that tidbit.

Try doing it manually? Might be more accurate if someone helped you. My PD was already on my script from years back.

I used a couple apps to verify what my eye doctor had written down. i was really struggling with my son because his eye doctor refused to provide PD. the apps are pretty accurate but I ultimately marked his PD on a piece of paper then measured the distance between the marks and compared it to the app and it was VERY close. an app called "eye measure" on IOS was the closest for me.

On a different website, I took a picture of my written optical prescription.

Single item has to be over $39 to qualify. $19 sunnies don't count

I've ordered from them before. They didn't really do any prescription validation and they actually had really good customer service. I followed their instructions for my PD but it ended up being a bit off. So they adjusted it and replaced it for me (they paid for all shipping). I actually didn't get the anti-glare and other blue light filter at first. But they let me add it onto the replacement order just paying the difference. So while the frames are free. I'd definitely get anti-glare and blue light especially if you work in front of the computer all day.
