Didn't know the difference between the s431 and s435 either, so went hunting... found this page fairly filled with technical deetz, and basically it looks like the s431 is a Walmart exclusive, but has same features as the s435. Again, according to this site.

55 inch was $238. I wouldnt pay a dollar more for these TV's.

If you need it, get it. Supply chain crap is messing up pricing and nobody can really say when it will stop. People referencing old pricing here are not really being helpful. Current market prices are inflated but there's not much we can do about that right now.

Got a similar model, TCL 4 series, 4k 43" Android TV, not roku, last fall at target for 160ish, its fine for that price but the picutre quality is not that great. I dont think this is a good price unless you need a TV right now. I'd pass at this price for sure. Its fine for our bedroom but as a main TV i would pass
