Was about to bite but I believe that these older XT2s come with a Sync Module that doesn't support USB storage. This means you need a Blink subscription to view and store recorded videos…

I'm too much of cheap basterd to pay monthly fees unfortunately so these cams are no go for me. Shame, as they seem very decent for the price…

XT,XT2 and Indoor gen 1 have 7200s of cloud storage irrespective of when you bought it. The subscription only applies to other blink devices. Credit to justwanna.

Not true, I have the old versions and never paid subscription ever, you get X amount of free storage … never been even 5% full

Can anyone explain the 7200s (2h) of the free cloud storage? Is is 7200s for the life of each camera? That's seems pretty low. Or does it get overwritten once it gets to 7200s each time?

It's for all your camera not each camera I think. Yes it overwrites the oldest data.

Never payed for blink... I think they don't charge for that service to the initial customers. $13 bucks for the add on camera is a steal.

just wanted to add an update mine arrived decent condition a few scratches but the module was already registered meaning i cant set them up therefor i have to either exchange them or figure out a way to reformat (it asks me to scan qr or manually add number and when i do message pops up that they are already registered )

woot has agreed to send an exchange but not sure if i will run into the same issue again

Just got mine (3 camara system) ..... so woot said it was in acceptable condition... but it came new in box. All stickers and everything looks brand new. I'm guessing I just got lucky!
