Opened box - they look new but might be refurb - there is a sync module so it might qualify for the free cloud storage (minimum).
Mine also looked brand new, the cameras had clear stickers on the front and back. The sync module had nothing. Box had 2 round stickers. If only it had sound detection like my wyze cameras. Other than that I'm happy with my purchase.
What happens?
Is there still free limited cloud storage - or is it put into a trial period only - forcing a subscription?

Accounts that were created before April 16, 2020 continue to have the original 7200 seconds per Sync Module of basic cloud storage.
XT2, XT and Indoor (gen 1) cameras receive 7200 seconds of basic cloud storage per Sync Module, free for the life of the device. This is separate from a subscription plan. The Sync Module is assigned 7200 seconds of basic cloud storage just for these older cameras.

The XT, XT2, and Indoor (First Generation) cameras will always have the free cloud storage even on a new account created on or after April 16, 2020. If you were to add a new Outdoor, Mini, or Doorbell later on, you would need a subscription for those new devices.
- where do I check the capacity of my account?
- is it 7200s for a camera or an account?
- Can I use up 100% then delete all the recorded vids to regain the 7200s limit back?

I bought the 2-camera system over two years ago. One of the camera works great, still runs on the original battery come with the package after over 2 years. The other one may be defected, run out of battery very quick (maybe last 2-3 months). So, I just put in regular alkaline batteries I got from Office Depot deals. It seems to last 2-3 months as well depending on the motion detections. I ordered two more add-on cameras and hope these add-on units from Woot work as specs (2-years battery time).
will see what happens after that.
