Xfinity is running a special for new customers: 600 Mbps service for $20/month for the first 12-months plus a $300 Visa gift card, if you also activate new Xfinity mobile service within 30 days of activating the home internet service. You can BYOD for the mobile service, which will make you eligible for an additional $200 gift card for the current BYOD promotion. Or you can purchase a new phone from Xfinity, They wont even allow you to BYOD for some phone models they sell themselves! This is a much more restrictive BYOD policy than what Verizon allows, which is strange because Xfinity is a MVNO for Verizon.
You can use a Google Voice number to satisfy the BYOD port-in requirement of the $200 GC. I posted
detailed instructions here.
Note Xfinity charges ~$14/month if you rent the cable modem (includes wifi 6 router) but they also allow you to bring your own modem to avoid this fee. I suggest the Motorola MB8600, which is a DOCSIS 3.1 modem w/1Gbps WAN ethernet port that is authorized for use on Xfinity's network. It can be had for ~$80 used or ~$150 new. You'll also want a wifi router to supply that service to your household.

Also if you have many in the neighborhood on Xfinity, it slows you down.
Lastly, when we went past 1 TB we got an additional bill saying we used too much, this happened for two months and I switched.
Although their Customer Service is much better than ATT

I am on the same boat as you. No real competition to Comcast in my town and I have been paying $76 for 200 mbps for more than a year. Last week I decided to add xFi complete to have unlimited data due to recent enrollment in youtube tv. I was then offered 600mbps +xFi complete for $75 for 12 months contract. I have no problem with contract as I don't see any reason that I will switch to ATT's ADSL, the only other option here.
Try your own luck.

Called them and they were able to upgrade me to 600MB for $50 for 24 months. Not a fan of these long contracts but sadly the only other option in my area is ATT DSL which is slow and expensive.
