I got the Vizio one from Target a few weeks ago. It's okayyyy. Nothing very special, but it does the job. The issue I have with it is that it does not turn off with my TV even with all the correct settings selected. YMMV. I'm gonna try this one out and decide which to return.

Picked one of these up yesterday to pair with a TCL Roku TV (4 series). I'm not an audiophile, but even my ears can discern that the sound quality is not great. The best way I can describe them is that they sound just like the built in TV speakers, but louder. Bass is barely there and not much clarity to voice or dialogue even when switching modes (e.g. TV, Movie, Music) I have a another TV paired with a Yamaha YAS-107 and the difference is night and day, with the Yamaha having much richer sounds and deeper bass.
Pros:
- Automatically installs and syncs when plugged into a Roku TV with HDMI Arc
- Has HDMI ARC for auto-on w/ TV and control with single remote
- Has Bluetooth
- Includes remote w/ batteries (not necessary if already using a Roku device or Roku TV)
- Includes HDMI cable
- Includes mounting brackets with screws and template for wall mounting
Cons:
- Sound quality is lacking
- No EQ settings or any way to change Treble/Bass settings aside from choosing different audio modes (e.g. TV, Movie, Music).
- Only supports Dolby Audio, no DTS (likely not at this price point)
- Manual shows an optical cable (toslink?) was supposed to be included, but there was none in the box
At $44, this is an okay soundbar if you just want something louder than the built in TV speakers. I think it works well in a bedroom or even used as PC speakers. If you want that "theater at home" experience, keep on looking.

Thanks for the review, and the Yamaha comparison is particularly helpful for me. I'm looking for something cheap to pair with a secondary TV, and I think this TCL might be a little too much of a step down from the Yamaha ATS-1070 that I'm used to.
Has anyone tried this soundbar with a non-TCL brand tv?
I want to make sure the HDMI ARC works so I can use the existing TV remote to turn it on/off and to control the volume.
It's for a vacation rental house so I don't want to have guests try to figure out another remote. Just looking to improve the terrible and low sound from the Onn TV we have.

Is it a standard mounting pattern? Wondering if it would work with a sound at mount to go below a TV that is wall-mounted. I have this bracket for my soundbar currently: Mounting Dream Sound bar Mount Fits Most Sound Bars Up to 22 lbs, Mounting Sound bar Above or Under TV, Sound Bar Brackets with 2 Adjustable Extension Plates, Detachable Sound Bar Mount MD5422 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FCDF...UTF8&psc=1
