Apart from that you just need to decide if 2.7k video max is good enough or is you want 4k.
The Mini 2 also does DNG, RAW photos.
There's a bunch of other quality of life updates, but I won't mention as they aren't enough to convince a Mini user to upgrade to a Mini 2 so they aren't enough to convince a Phantom user either.
All that said.... if you haven't seen how small these are, you're in for a huge surprise. Just might use it way more based on portability.
As for the video quality.... very much the same across all three models. Only the Mini 2 has RAW photo option. If you just want 1080p or 2.7k video and don't care about RAW images... this might be perfect at this price.
While I'd never suggest the OG mini over the SE or Mini 2 withing a 100 dollars.... this is cheap enough to warrant stunt duty - the footage between all three is roughly equal.

The problem most people have with the Mini vs the SE or Mini 2 is the lack of OccuSync transmission. Because of this it can't go as far, as high or as fast. Including the latency from controller to movement lagging.

The Fly More pack is worth it definitely. I'm sure you'll consistently get 25 min flight time.... not 30 except under ideal conditions.
But if you're really nervous you can buy this and then use the credit to buy an extra battery later.

+1 on this. Want to do those cool tracking/zoom in/zoom out video clips.
I got the mini 2 as my first drone just this week. I am blown away by how easy it is to use, the range, and just how capable it is. I've heard the range on the mini 1 is pretty lackluster in comparison, but I've never used it personally. Definitely get the fly more package with whatever drone you get, you will be eager to fly it again when the first battery dies, even if the flight time is pretty good. I read lots of comparisons between the mini 1 and mini 2 and all of them said the biggest improvement was the range and the next was the camera. I'm no photographer (I don't even know what a raw image is, lol) I just wanted a fun toy, so the range was the big selling point for me.

On a bright and sunny day, images and videos will look great straight out of the camera, but in challenging lighting situations, the older and smaller image sensors struggle.
When it comes to sunsets or twilight photos you'll find that you can't pull out shadows like you can with a bigger image sensor. Those images will look like they were taken with a half-decade old cell phone camera...because that's what it is.
If you fly in the city you'll probably want to skip this deal and opt for the version with Occusync as you'll get a lot of radio interference. There's nothing worse than losing signal in the middle of a flight. I've crashed before due to that. In my case, DJI was able to validate in the logs that the crash was due to signal loss and replaced it for free.
If you want something to toy around and either only care about sunny and bright photos or you aren't too serious about image quality, this is a good deal.
