I have this mower and love it. I don't know the exact size of my backyard because of the odd shape, maybe 20x15, and there's plenty of charge after 1 mow. I do not miss gas mowers and the fumes that come with them.

Same! Got rid of my gas mowers (for my primary residence and a rental) and haven't looked back. Vertical storage is a bonus too. And when I get done, I don't smell like exhaust.

In the pictures it looks like it takes two battery packs. Does it need two at a time? I read the listing online and it mentions including one battery, or did I not read that correctly? Wondering if I need to buy another battery in addition to this deal? TIA

The other section, I use to store the charger. It could probably fit another battery for storage but I only have one battery. The mower only uses 1 battery though

Should be a 6AH. That's what the non-recon model comes with, and I bought this item a few months ago and it came with a 6.

It uses 1 pack to run. The other is a storage for a spare battery

I would hope there's plenty of charge left after cutting a section of grass the size of a large bedroom....
