I've stacked a few different subscriptions. I'm good through 2026. I remember someone saying you can't go more than 5 years ahead though.

2/9/21 Newegg had Ofc 365 Family 15 mo. + AVG for $47.68

The last 3 years a couple of stores have had the Ofc 365 family pack, 1 yr. for $50 during the BF sales. Amazon was one of them, but note that once you activate an Ofc subscription with Amazon, you can't add additional subscriptions from somewhere else until the Amazon subscription is over.

Let it never end, please. Isn't the whole idea of this site to not pay retail? Granted you might not use this subscription, but many others do. And we appreciate the post even if only a handful of folks will benefit (thanks OP).

I'm not sure, you may look at the fine print or contact Newegg, however they stack so you can just add them (assuming you don't have yours managed by Amazon or bestbuy). It'll just add years to your subscription.

If not these come up at least every year (more often though) so no need to frantically buy now.

Got 3 more licenses, always a great deal since I sell them to clients but AVG is junk, good one-two punch is eset and malwarebytes, always great to use and wish Microsoft didnt crack down and max 5 only but go figure you used to be able to go up to 8

Good to know my 2019 license is good to go for a bit longer heh.

Real shame with the 5 years for those who don't upgrade often. I'll be hunting for deals on whatever comes after 21 nonetheless. Office '24 or later version perhaps.

Switching docs/photos. I use Google Drive for docs and photos for a redundant backup (also I use iCloud) so I'll just move it over to One Drive.

I purchased and redeemed 365 Family, but when I try to visit the page that allows you to send invitations to other users, my M$ account only shows my old 365 Personal subscription (expired in May). Main subscriptions page shows only my (now unnecessary) OneDrive standalone that expires in January.

Has anybody had similar issues with the subscriptions page? Do I just need to wait a hot minute, or contact support?

UPDATE: Contacted support, and they basically told me to pound sand because the license was purchased through Newegg. Buyer beware, I guess…

For those asking about extending an existing subscription. I have an Office / Microsoft 365 subscription that I purchased through Costco a few years ago and I was able to use the product key that I received from purchasing this to extend my current subscription for another year. I enabled auto-renew and it appears to have extended it by 13 months instead of 12. It worked for me, but "your mileage may vary".

Did you enter the product key in via your logged in Microsoft account? It should come up as a line item in your MS account.

Yep, and it does show up under Order History and on the page for my Microsoft account. However, the Subscriptions page still just shows my expired Personal account, so I have no way to share my membership with others.
