I worked at Coach for 6 years. It's true that there are factory lines sold only in outlet, but the difference in quality is barely noticeable. Truthfully, it comes down to which collections are better constructed as opposed to a blanket difference in quality. I'd even go as far as to say DON'T shop in the full price store because the quality difference is basically negligible. Coach will warranty all their products (from workmanship defects) for 5 years, regardless of where you bought it.

I'm 10 years removed from working there, but I still shop there from time to time. I work in luxury retail now and bang for buck I truly think Coach makes super quality stuff even compared to the company I work for. Even if most of it is made in China these days. I can't speak for other brands you brought up, but you can feel confident that you're getting a quality product at Coach

Likely last an year before falling apart. Really? Do you have such an experience or just assuming ? Even a $20 TH, KC etc wallets from an outlet easily lasts 2-3 years.

Nah to that "likely last a year before falling apart" stuff, totally not true. I've bought many an item at the Coach Outlet and they're still going strong ten years later.

There is hardly a noticeable difference in the quality, honestly. I bought a wallet and purse from them last week, and am super impressed with them both; I expect them to hold up the way normal purses and wallets do. Great deal, honestly!
