Samsung TU7000 Rtings for reference:

https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/tu7000

6.7.

"The Samsung TU7000 is okay for mixed usage. It doesn't perform well in bright environments, but it has an excellent contrast ratio that makes blacks look deep, so it's better for watching movies in the dark. The narrow viewing angles are not well-suited for watching TV or sports with friends since the image loses accuracy from the side. It has a remarkably low input lag for a responsive gaming experience, but sadly it doesn't have extra features like VRR to reduce screen tearing.

PROS
Outstanding black uniformity.
Excellent contrast ratio.
Fair response time.

CONS
No local dimming.
Low SDR and HDR peak brightness.
No VRR support."

How much do they really save by only having 2 HDMI ports. TVs these days should come standard with like 4.

Seems about on par with the 65" Samsung I bought from costco last year for $450. Not great but good for the price. TVs (along with other electronics) are probably not going to be as cheap this year.

And it even may not have a better picture quality. At least not good enough to compensate for price difference. I bought a 55 inch version of this TV. Turns out 2 HDMIs are enough for me. We always want more than we need

Not knocking what you are saying, but for those of us that use 1 HDMI in from our surround receiver, 2 is plenty. I can see if you don't use pass-through, and actually think 3 should be the minimum on any TV, but can see that 2 inputs wouldn't matter to me. I have my Android box, Roku Ultra, Tivo 4K, a PC Stick, and Google TV Chromecast plugged into my receiver. Don't need half of them, since they are redundant, but haven't unplugged anything since I started testing which UI I liked most.
