  3. Under Event Types at this location click DIY Kids' Workshop
  4. Click Register and select how many children will be attending (limit of 5)
  5. Provide your contact information & complete registration
  6. Reserved kits can be picked up in-store at our customer service desk on Saturday, December 11th or Sunday, December 12th.

For sure register, but the last two months when I went to pick up they just handed it to me without checking registration. Fyi in case registration is full

The Customer Service rep will give you a kit to bring home and build

pre-covid I believe it was a workshop type class in store, but they have not started that back up

Do the kids get to or have to build this in-store (like the Build n Grow days) or do you just pick this up and DIY at home?

The registration implies you pick up the kit at CS but the FAQ makes it sound like an event that runs a few hours.

I've been doing these for about a year and every time at my Lowes it has been something to take home rather than done in store.

Reg opens tomorrow, looks fun. I initially thought it wasn't available in my area, but realized I must have selected an adult event the fist time around.

Just picked our turkey tumble thing up today and my store had a list with names they made you initial. Might be YMMV but you should register. It isn't like the old days where they'd get piles of these kits and hand them out like candy.
