The link is for GF 6 Solar (non-Pro). There is no "Pro" version of 6 Solar.

It is the pro version. Check the listed item number in the Amazon listing with Garmin.

I have the sapphire for my 5. It's really good quality. I've hit it several times against concrete and other hard surfaces and thought for sure I was going to get a scratch and never have. That's the only downside of the solar which is has me hesitant on getting it. Running 5ks almost daily I still get a week charge out of it. You won't be disappointed.

I just put my Fenix 6 Pro (non-solar version) through a Tough Mudder Classic (I covered it with an arm sleeve during mud obstacles). The watch performed admirably and looks brand new after cleaning. I really enjoy wearing my watch, and the metrics that Garmin gives me are awesome. I'd have picked this version up if it was available when I bought mine. I don't really feel there is a need to wait for the Fenix 7's as these deals on the Fenix 6's are really good considering the quality and features.

I would go to DCRainmaker's site if you want to compare the two. Here is a review of the Solar. For example, you would get +2 days to the 14 you get on a full charge in smartwatch mode.
