I've never heard of the brand. Seems like a decent standard socket selection up to 18mm (deeps leave many sizes to be desired) and I like that it includes universal joints and a few extensions. I'm 99% sure those ratchets are the same as in the HF sets. You could do worse. Or better. Hard to say without knowing in advance what you're gonna use it for or how often you're gonna use it.

With that in mind, if you can find more room in your budget a bunch of the more complete $99+ holiday sale sets are generally the best place to sink some garage tool money this time of year.

I can't speak for the quality of the tools as I have never seen this brand before nor handled it. However the mix of tools for the price is very good to me as long as the quality is half decent.

If you have Prime, I think this set is worth taking a shot.
Assuming the tools are decent quality, 92 sockets, 12 wrenches and 3 ratchets for $56 is good value, even compared to the larger $100 Craftsman and Husky sets on the Front Page right now.
And if you get it and the quality seems bad, just return it.
If read the legit reviews on Amazon for this 164 pc set, they're mostly good.

Can anyone who knows something about tools give their input on this set and brand?
I'm a garage dad who needs a set for rare occasions.

I think they are right on par with Stanley. For rare occasions, this set looks impressive. Case looks decent, all three ratchet sizes, and a good amount of sizes. Good truck set of tools I suppose.

Thanks OP! Looking for an inexpensive set for my truck. I don't like putting high end tools in my vehicles in case it gets broken into! Now I need a higher end set for my garage!

It is also listed on Amazon for 99, and it seems to have good quality reviews also!

Yes on par with Stanley. Dislike the prices count because of the screw bits. This is the regular price imho

Show me a better car trunk set of tools for this price. I'll be waiting.

Great for the price, I don't need it because I have enough sockets and wrenches already but for hobby mechanics it should be sufficient.

Very impressive spreadsheet - Thanks for sharing, and Reps to you!

Now only if the darn manufacturers (other than just HF) would start making sets with Torx bits and sockets instead of the U.S. sizes. Wouldn't that be nice to have as an option?
