The SUA4000iED is the same 3500 running watts, same 223 cc engine but 2000 watts extra starting watts. Likely supercedes this model. with parts are backwards compatible. There's only a tiny chance imo a clearance price better than this may pop up after the holidays. If undecided then I'd buy in the early am and see how long they take to sell out with option to cancel later.
I don't recall ever seeing this electric start on sale before. Been following the price for a year. The electric start is often o.o.s. The pull start model is the one they put on sale. It was briefly $535 last April at sams.
For pull start two of the 98 cc igen2500 give 4400 watts run when paralleled and has been one of the best deals this yeat at $400 each but who can say if or when that deal will come back. The Pulsar 1800 watt was second best inverter deal at $280 but I really like the digital data panel and larger engine.
Remote electic start stop isn't possible with two 1800 -2500 runninhg watt ( on gasoline ) i-gens.
I dismissed the negative reviews after learning that most could be traced back to a loose connection at some point in production which was easily resolveable. igen4500's have also been delivered with loose connectors except those require a labor intensive disassembly to fix. No matter which i-generator is purchased if it is set up and run hard upon receipt and performs as advertised during the return period chances are that it will continue to do so for years with proper maintenance.
The $150 savings before tax brings the price to the lowest point I've seen for these specs. For the past year it has been nearly impossible to find a dual fuel igen4500DF in stock. This A-ipower has also been o.o.s at Sams. If this configuration is required then the choice today is whether or not to spend at least $350 + tax more to get the igen4500. Saving this much for these features is slick.

Lol, yeah just "add em up"! Never mind they're in the same sinusoidal phase. Unlike the 180 degree opposition of the actual two hots in the U.S. Edison 3-wire system for residential 240V.
I watched a review on YT on the Duromax and it performed perfectly. The reviewer maxed it out and even at an overload situation it was still putting out 117 volts. What stood out the most to me though was just how quiet it is.

I've been waiting on the Wen dual fuel (have their gasser). It looks similar to this without the autostart but it is not in stock.

Many parts like carburetor, inverter, switches are generic and may be found on Amazon or Alibaba with discussion on generator forums.
Emissions parts: The SUA3800ied is a 50 state model meaning it has evaporative emissions controls not required in most states. I do NOT suggest that anyone disconnect the charcoal cannister which is part of the California mandated evaporative emission control system.
Charcoal dust from the charcoal cannister has been know to contaminate the fuel system and tank but this is mostly on fuel injected models. If it occurs it will be quite noticeable as black soot in the fuel system and requires tedious cleaning in an advanced state to resolve fuel starvation. The fuel and ignition systems are covered in their entirety under the federally mandated warranty which I believe is five years.

what does inverter mean? and what would this generator be used for mainly? how long would it power something like a fridge? I'm pretty noobish when it comes to this stuff but i want to prep
2 years ago I had the I-Power 2200W version powering 2 refrigerators and our internet router/laptops. Lasted for over 8 hours each tankful of gas.
