Thought I would add to the wiki since these questions keep coming up:
Apple part...
How do I add the Apple giftcard into my Apple account?
On your iPhone/iPad: Click on App store --> top right corner, click on your account or picture --> "Redeem gift card or code" --> either manually type it in or scan with your camera.
On your App store on your MacOS --> App store --> bottom left corner click on your account or picture --> "Redeem gift card" (top right corner) --> same step as above.
How many giftcards can I add to my Apple account balance? The max is $2000.
I thought I can only use 8 gift cards for the purchase? Yes, even though that is correct, you can use up to 8 gift cards per order; however, you can use your "Apple balance" on top of that, so $2000 (Apple balance) + $800 (8x$100 gc) = $2800
Can I use half giftcard/Apple balance? Yes, see above.
Can I use half Apple balance/ credit card? Yes, however can't use Paypal.
Target part...
How do I get more than 1 gift card? GO to the store!
Do they have to ring up separately? Yes, and through the self-checkout lane.
What's the process? 1) pick the giftcard, either 1x$100, 2x$50, 4x$25 = $100, 2) bring the gc(s) to the check out lane, 3) scan the card, rescan the card again to activate 4) look up at eye level, you will a stack of Target giftcard, pick one 5) self-check out machine will prompt you to scan the Target giftcard 6) hit pay 7) rinse and repeat 8)use the same Target giftcard earlier to keep adding $15 into the balance. 8) immediately redeem the Apple giftcards through the steps mentioned earlier.
Hopefully this is helpful. wingroks

Not just one credit card, it is one per target account.

The terms on the target flyer say one offer per GUEST. so it’s not per account. You could probably do at least one online order and then another instore. There isn’t anything in the terms to say you need to be a red card holder so you could likely do many purchases in store over the next few days using different credit cards etc

Most of the time these deals are available at 1am EST but start checking around 12 am EST to be safe

Yes you can. You can use this to pay for apple care monthly payments too
Yes you can 🙂 you might have to avoid been seen by the same cashier. The promo reads “one per guest” so they can deny a second purchase if they see you.
You can always use different cashiers, shifts or take a friend with you to do 2 transactions.
No. I tried it last year instore and they denied it.

Yes within the disney app, pay through App Store.
Though its routinely available for cheaper outside of the app store through various promos and cashback sites.
No, you need to scan a Target gift card. There are a bunch at the self check out lanes. So after you scan the Apple gift card, then hit "pay", it will say this is eligible for $15 scan a gift card now. So you scan the target gift card then pay. Your receipt should show both the $100 apple gift card and a "promo gift card" with $15 balance.
If buying multiple gift cards you can reuse the same target gift card and just scan it again, the $15 will just add to the existing balance. I did separate transactions for each Apple gift card to be safe. Also, try to redeem your apple gift cards in the app store ASAP to make sure it's not an empty card.
This becomes an issue every single time a deal like this is posted.
Target considers the promotion in the background as follows: $85 Apple + $15 Target with $15 Apple (bonus).
Therefore, the $100 you pay is split between $85 Apple and $15 Target. Since Red card only gives discount on the Apple one, you get an additional $4.25, not the whole $5.
Finally I can pay the IRS with these gift cards. Thank you!

Should be the same as last year. I think it just means one promotion per check-out. How these terms affect the online ordering process, I can't say, but I'm sure if you show up to the store and checkout with multiple cards and do multiple transactions, you should be fine. Nice thing about Target is that you can do self checkout for gift cards.
