This is for the purchase of Happy Cards in egiftcard format. It functions in a way different from the plastic Happy Cards. The plastic Happy Cards are basically prepaid credit card. With the current Happy eGiftcards, you will receive a redemption code and PIN from Happy Cards instead of the gift card directly. With the codes, you have the credit amount for redemption of merchant gift card(s) on the list up to the total value. Once redeemed, you will then receive the egift card of the selected specific merchant and you can use that for purchase in store or online for that merchant only.
With the plastic card, you are advised to keep the empty card after use in case of merchandize return. Some vendor may refund you in cash or store credit though. With the store egift card redeemed from Happy Card egift certificate, it is basically the same as the store gift card. You will receive store credit/gift card for returned merchandise.

This does seem to work once per card category, not once per customer. So, you likely get up to 7x $7.50 code if you get one of each.
The $7.50 promo code also does seem to stack if you apply more than one per order.

I think some of them can be used online. However, because they are treated like credit cards, there's no way to split payment and it's nearly impossible to spend the full value.

Correct. I went for Lowes also and redeemed it for a $50 Lowes gift card (with a Bar Code and a Pin #) via Gift Card Mall within a couple minutes.

BJ's has like 100 beers on tap and probably 100 food items on the menu. It's general crowd-pleaser type stuff, anything from tacos to pizza to steaks. American food, kinda loud inside, at least the one I've been to. They have a good curbside pickup process here too, even before covid.

Probably not, Lowes hasn't allowed buying a gift card with a gift card for sometime now. Unless you get the cashier to somehow override, I wouldn't expect that to be common.

There are now another version of Happy Card that you need to redeem the amount into gift card(s) for individual merchant. If you purchase and it directly at Happycards.com recently, it is the new version. Once redeemed, the resulted gift card is the same as those from that particular store. For the old version of Happy Card, you can tell the cashier how much to be charged on it. Last time I returned an item at Lowe's that was purchased with Happy Card, they refund me in cash. Not sure if other store would do the same, so one should keep the empty card for a while.

Yes, I've bought Happy eGift Cards multiple times in the past when they had promotions like this and redeemed them for Lowes gift cards which I've used at Lowes in store, no problem.

Last time Amazon had this GC offer, it was 1 offer per card type. Wording is not that clear. Roll the dice, if you want to try buying different cards to get multiple promo codes.
