Closest I got was $408.48 with RED CARD Savings (Getting Target to price match to Amazon when it was $429)

Although this ends up being $10 more than the Amazon/Sams Club deal I think I'm going to go with this Costco deal.

For electronics you get 5 year warranty with membership + citibank card
For all other products they will give you lifetime warranty

Compared to any other retail store you pay a couple dollars less but you'll get 1 year warranty from Apple. For such an expensive pair of headphones seems like a worthwhile cost just for the peace of mind.

EDIT:
I went back and looked it up, the costco concierge + costco citi card provides 4 year warranty (2 year Costco + 2 year Citi) not 5, my mistake.

That's pretty good deal. Unfortunately I don't have a target Red card.

I agree! That is what the deciding factor was for me! Even though at one point Amazon was $10 cheaper. I decided that with Costco I will get %4 cash back along with the extended warranty with it

FYI, Apple Care is only $45 if you purchase at the same time from Costco. Regular is $59. That's a bargain.

Is Costco base warranty 3yrs plus additional 2yrs with Citi Costco Credit Card? If there's a problem is it just a return or repair/refund at both stages (Costco and Additional Coverage from Citi)?

I'm curious to know if I need to purchase the Apple Care Plus, since I got Target to price match to Amazon with additional Red Card saving of $408.48 (only 1 yr warrant)

I'm only seeing these items from Costco with additional coverage.

Televisions, Projectors, Computers, Major Appliances, Water Heaters. Not sure if this headphone is included.

Thanks in advance!

My mistake I just went back and looked up the costco concierge services.

If headphones do not apply for the concierge services then they will fall under Costco's lifetime return policy (could be considered warranty?).

Per Costco's website:
On Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell, and will refund your purchase price*, with the following exceptions:

Electronics: Costco will accept returns within 90 days (from the date the member received the merchandise) for Televisions, Projectors, Major Appliances (refrigerators above 10 cu. ft., freezers, ranges, cooktops, over-the-range microwaves, dishwashers, water heaters, washers and dryers), Computers, Touchscreen Tablets, Smart Watches, Cameras, Aerial Cameras (drones), Camcorders, MP3 players and Cellular Phones (return details will vary by carrier service contract).
Our Costco Concierge Services representatives are available to assist with technical support and warranty information for many of the products above. You'll find a list of eligible items here.
Diamonds: 1.00ct or larger: Members returning a diamond over 1.00ct must also present all original paperwork (IGI and/or GIA certificates) at which time they will receive a Jewelry Credit Memo. Within 48 hours, our Costco Graduate Gemologist will inspect for authenticity.
Cigarettes and alcohol: Costco does not accept returns on cigarettes or alcohol where prohibited by law.
Products with a limited useful life expectancy, such as tires and batteries, may be sold with a product-specific limited warranty.
Special Order Kiosk and Custom Installed Programs: Custom product(s) manufactured to our member's personal and unique specifications cannot be returned or refunded, except for warranty repair/replacement due to failure to meet specifications.
I'm not sure if headphones count under the 4 year warranty or lifetime but either way it is a whole lot better than 1 year from all other retail stores.

If headphones count as an electronics purchase the warranty will be as follows: Costco provides 2 years then plus an additional 2 years with Costco Citi Card.

Details on Costco Concierge Services:
https://www.costco.com/concierge....alogSearch

Details on 2+2 with Costco Citi Card:
https://www.costco.com/concierge-...ge%20terms.

Details on Warranty process for 2 year Extended with Costco Citi Card:
https://www.cardbenefits.citi.com...ranty.aspx

As detailed in the previous link during the Costco Citi Card Warranty you will need to file a claim through Citi to use the warranty.

Hope this information helps out!

Just chatted with Costco customer service. They told me I can return it "at any time." So it is technically lifetime warranty. I'm in for 1 because of this long warranty though I would find a cheaper price at other stores in the near future.

One thing to keep in mind, which happened to be the reason I decided not to buy them, was that there was no power button/on-off switch. They either decide to go to sleep by themselves, or the only way to force them to sleep is put them in the bras(case). I don't ever carry the case with me so it's a little annoying.
