I brought this last time with sale price $230 using with my new Mac Mini it works great for my needs
So it plays well with the new Mac Mini? No blurry text, etc? I've seen people mention that certain monitors are not working well the new new mini.

This is an IPS screen that is great for color accuracy and viewing angles. If your nephew is mostly into gaming, the higher frequency screen may be better. I would go with the Walmart one for gaming.
Definitely get the higher hertz for fast paced gaming, it allows for higher framerates without screen tearing

This is the choice for a gamer. This is the Costco version of the Walmart LG monitor. It's probably the best budget option for this size now. Having said that, the GIGABYTE M32Q is at Amazon for $360, and it may be a better choice. I'm debating between the two and the M27Q for $260. OP, if $250 is your budget and want 32", get the LG at Costco.

Repped for your civil response. I see too many peeps getting torn up because they lack gaming knowledge one would hope they could trust fellow slickdealers for help with. Kudos to you. 👍

Assuming your graphics card can hold up, which anyone beneath a high-mid end card will not be able to in most modern games at this monitor's resolution and refresh rate.

This for my nephew's gaming PC or the $250 "LG 32" UltraGear QHD (2560x1440) 165Hz HDR 10 Monitor w/FreeSync - 32GN600-B.AUS" from Walmart? Any opinions?

He currently has a 24" 60hz 1600x1200 4ms monitor and has a GTX 1650 or something. Mostly plays Valorant.

Walmart link for reference https://www.walmart.com/ip/LG-32-...hbdg=L1100
Go for the walmart one which is made for gaming.

That's a good choice but its apples to oranges. The one you got is VA vs. the one in this deal is IPS

Cant find reviews online...anyone know if it has software for split screen viewing?
If you are on windows there are some really handy keyboard shortcuts for making a window take up half the screen.

Make the window active, then press Windows key + right/left arrow key. That resizes the window to half the screen dimension and snaps it to the right or left hand of the screen respectively. If you press windows key + Up arrow it maximizes the screen. Windows key plus down arrow minimizes the screen.

If you have two monitors hooked up and say your window is snapped to the left side of the left monitor, you can press the windows key + right arrow multiple times to cycle the window to the right and then onto the other monitor.

I've purchased this not too long ago, it's actually really good. I actually bought this in the warehouse for $149.99. I know some locations vary. Got mine in 92506 California.

It's called "OnScreen Control". You can download it from the above page and it's likely included on a disc in the monitor's box. It can be difficult to find because LG's website is trash.
