Why does every phone deal require needing to sign up for some janky, second tier phone service then cancelling or something. The amount of weird contract loopholes in the phone biz game has gotten very old.

Math doesn't add up for 13mimi: $759-$300=$459, not $479. Am I missing something?

They jacked up the price and i am wondering if they will jack up the activation fee too?

As an example, currently, the Verizon iPhone 13 is sold at $750 at Walmart but now it's $880? That along with the associated tax and who knows what will happen with the activation fee, we're maybe talking about $150 only in savings.

Historically they have jacked up the prices by $100. right now I am seeing 12 promax at 31.64 for 30 months at Verizon which equates to about 950. I am assuming they will jack it up to 1050
